Born and raised in North Carolina, I have loved visual story telling for most of my life. When I was in middle school, I loved taking pictures and editing them. As I got older, I went from photographing self-portraits and my friends to live music. I realized how much I also enjoy event photography and watching moments unfold naturally.

One wedding and a baby later, I began photographing more portraits and eventually weddings. I recruited my husband as my second shooter, and we became this dynamic duo.

My favorite sessions to photograph are motherhood. I think it is such a special moment to not be the one taking the pictures, and be completely present with your child while leaving the rest up to me.  Having those pictures of you and them when they are little will never be something you'll regret.

My hopes for your experience with me is that you will walk away feeling confident with the end result before you get to see it. I want you to have fun and interact in ways that feel natural and authentic. Most of all, I hope to make real connections that feel the opposite of a business transaction. I have been lucky enough to make many friendships through photography and hope to make more. I can't wait to plan your session!
